CRM 2016 - Change Sitemap Area color

Hi,

For a given sitemap area (Sales, Service, etc.), we can change the icon as per this link: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/6edb9094-bde0-4e5d-bb57-957676c86bec#BKMK_AddorChangeIcons.

But the new icon only covers a portion of the full Sales tile and is supposed to be transparent. Is there any way to modify the color of the full Sales tile? By default it is [#001CA5] and I need to make it a shade of green. Also, for any new sitemap area nodes, the background color comes up as [#2D74EA] and I need to change that.

I don't see any provision in the theme feature to do this. Has anyone solved this problem yet?
