In my organization, everything starts in the Lead entity. The sales people are entering the Lead and then using the "connect" to show who the referral came from. After the appropriate milestones, these Leads are "qualified" and an Account, Contact, or Opportunity is created.
However, when you look at the "connections" tab in the new Account, Contact, or Opportunity, there are no connections shown. When you look at the person who made the referral, the connection still points to the Lead entity.
Is there a way to have the connection pass through during the qualifying process?
