Email workflow does not work when 'from' = 'case owner'

Hi,

This is only my second question in this community, apologies if I am not clear enough.

I created a workflow to send out emails through a trigger for cases (email router).

It works perfectly fine, when i leave the 'from' entity empty. However, all emails triggered are sent from me, even if the owner of the case triggered that email.

Hence, I set the 'from' entity as the owner of the case. However, when i sign in as the user, who created the case and tried to trigger that email, I receive the following message:

You cannot send e-mail as the selected user. The selected user has not allowed this or you do not have sufficient privileges to do so. Contact your system administrator for assistance

I have experiment around with different settings, but I still don't understand, why the owner of the case cannot trigger emails, where the 'from' entity is set to that owner.
