Microsoft CRM 2011-When importing data lists from into MS-CRM, is there a way to have MS-CRM 2011 match values to be imported with existing values under the organization field?

While we're importing data into MS-CRM 2011, we're finding that we have to manually verify that the "organization name" has to match the CRM existing values under the organization field.  For example, some members in our organization imports data and inputs “Lennox & Addington Hospital” vs "Lennox and Addington hospital” in the organization field.  As a result, it can result in errors meaning some records can't be imported and are excluded or in some cases results in duplicate records.

The duplicate detection feature in the program detects duplicate records after it has occurred.  My question: Is there a way to have it "smart match existing values" during the data import process? so that “Lennox& Addington Hospital” will automatically detect and match "Lennox and Addington hospital" during import process?
