Could someone please tell me what exactly constitutes a "user" in Dynamics CRM in terms of licensing.
We have a possible client with 260 staff members, only 10 or so need to do anything in the CRM but the rest need to run reports and view the data, with the crm pricing it would be terribly expensive for the customer to have 260 crm licenses and £30 per month per user.
Now i did think we could make the data available to these other staff members via the web services and external lists in sharepoint, but someone mentioned that this may be against licensing to do this, anyone clarify please.
We are desperately trying to find a way to minimize the cost to customer of using crm.
