I exported all our contacts to an excel spreadsheet and made some updates to the data. Now I would like to re-import the contacts, but it will not update the existing records in CRM. If I set the import wizard to allow duplicates, it will do that. But if I don't, then the existing records are not updated.
Do I just allow it to make duplicates and deal with them after the import? Or is there a setting that I am missing when doing the import? Also if I make the duplicates, is there a systematic way of dealing with them?
