I would like to get an idea of lead management best practices in Dynamics CRM.
In most situations we see people have an existing list of Contacts. These are current customer contacts, former contacts, qualified leads and contacts entered by various users.
When you attend a trade show or other event with a large list of contacts, or purchase a list, where do you most often put those?
How do you manage some "leads" are in your contact list and some may be in the lead lists, how do you handle this for a particular campaign.
At what point do you "qualify" a lead and convert it to a contact. What issues are you experiencing with this process. What has worked well?
What are the main issues you experience when managing Leads in the "lead bucket"?
