Trying to automate a close Appointment process

Hi

I am using Scribe and a three step process to open an Appointment activity, update a specific field and then close again as completed. The proces is fine except for reclosing the Appointment.

Has anyone else had any success with this kind of thing?

I've tried setting the statecode and statuscode fields to the relevant closure values but it always leaves the activity in a scheduled state.
