Poping up the same contact page?

Hi All, 

I am trying to pop up a phone call activity page using the 

window.open(url) 

but it show me the same page 

Here is the page link from which i am trying to pop up the phone activity 

http://<server-ip>:5555/myorg/main.aspx#487634914

and it opens the phone activity link but shows the same page mentioned above 

The url it pop up is 

http://<server-ip>:5555/myorg/main.aspx?etn=phonecall&pagetype=entityrecord&extraqs=call_from%3D%20UCCX%20Test%20EF%26call_to%3DEF%20Test%26call_direction%3Doutbound%26call_ani%3D9727001190%26customer_guid%3D%7B426D2CBE-61BB-E411-80BE-00155D64EE01%7D%26entity_name%3Dcontact#723418264

It only happens on IE 8, IE 9, IE 10 and  IE 11 or any Internet explorer 

but it works fine on chrome and Mozilla Firefox. 

I am not sure what is wrong with it 

Can you Help me figure this out ?
