CRM Appointments not visible in Outlook Calendar

My workflow (process) successfully creates Appointment records.  My intent was for the CRM Appointment records to sync to O/L Calendar.  The CRM Outlook filter looks correct.  The O/L filter is set to:  [Starttime and Endtime contains data, Appointment Type does not equal recurring instance, Activity Parties (Activity).Party = Current User and Participation Type Does Not Equal Owner].  Also, it is set to synchronize CRM to Outlook every 15 minutes.  I can see the new appointment records in CRM, but they are not visible in Outlook.
Any ideas why?
