Hi everyone,
I've just setup and deployed CRM 2011 as a student management system for a school, but having real trouble getting BIDS setup with CRM 2011.
Reports are working perfectly with the report wizard etc, but I just cant get the Fetch XML connection going in Business Intelligence Development Studio 2008.
Getting the error message:
Configuration binding extension 'system.serviceModel/bindings/netTcpRelayBinding' could not be found. Verify that this binding extension is properly registered in system.serviceModel/extensions/bindingExtensions and that it is spelled correctly.

The connection to server "https://theaddress/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc" could not be established. Make sure that the connection string and credentials are correct, and try again.
Configuration details:
Dynamics CRM 2011 UR 12
Server 2008 R2
SQL 2012
IFD deployment - tried connecting in BIDS with both internal and external URLs
BIDS 2008 - 9.0.30729.4462 QFE installed on Server 2008 R2
BIDS is installed on a computer on the local network not over internet
No obvious event log messages on the CRM server.
We just got our licenses after having been on evaluation, I thought the ones I ordered included software assurance so I could get MS technical support but turns out they didn't, this has really been holding me up.
