Office 2013 64 bit, CRM 2013 On-Premise, MS Exchange & Latest outlook client: All was working until I removed the connection to emulate a User's issue (they could not connect using the Outlook client!)
The connection works and the organisation is identified correctly, but then errors when the progress bar hits half way. I get an error "Access to the path '[MY PC NAME]-Microsoft.Crm.Application.Outlook.ConfigWizard-Client-20141111-1.etl' is denied".
When, in CRM, I change the access mode of the User to Administrative and configure the outlook client again, the configuration succeeds (*I have no idea why this should be - I got this tip from a post on the issue - it seems incredibly "buggy"). Having changed the access mode back to read-write and re-synching Outlook, I can then access some features of the outlook client (eg I can track), but when I attempt to access any entities from the organisation (in outlook) I get the "store not configured" error. Hard to believe such an important part of the CRM functionality is so problematic and the errors are so inscrutable. Any help very gratefully received. I have no idea why the access mode would make such a difference??
