Message asking to assign roles appears below the ribbon when all users have roles assigned

Hi All,

I have the following weird issue in one of our Dynamics CRM 2011 organizations, the message: "You need to assign security roles to new users. click to see a list of users who need microsoft dynamics crm security roles" (in a red frame below the main ribbon) appears on screen.

The problem is that all users in the organization have security roles assigned, so that message should not be displayed. When clicking on "Assign Roles" the view "Users with no security roles assigned" is empty (as it should be).

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Any feedback on this would be much appreciated!
