MetadataService [Web Service] for the Dynamics CRM 2011/2013 ?

Hi

I see a metadata service to read or write the definitions for all the entities in a Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

But its available for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0

Is there a similar web service available for Dynamics CRM 2011/2013 ?

P.S. - Instead of using Dynamics CRM SDK, I directly need to integrate using WSDL.
