Group a field into buckets

I need to create a chart on a dashboard that provides a count of accounts by asset size but I want the asset size to be grouped into buckets, i.e. less than x, between x&y, greater than y.    How can I group the accounts by asset size buckets, is there a way to do this OOTB without using code?
